This table records the journal’s current stage. It is not a table of contents and does not imply that any article has been accepted.
Planned sections
The journal plans to publish the following categories of work. The categories describe the journal’s editorial scope; they do not announce the contents of the first issue.
Research articles
Substantial, original scholarship on administrative law doctrine, procedure, regulation, or theory. Articles should make a clear argument and explain its significance beyond the immediate case or statute.
Review essays
Extended engagement with recent scholarship, organised around a question rather than a single book. Review essays should advance an argument of their own.
Case notes
Focused analysis of significant judicial decisions in administrative law, situating the decision in doctrine and explaining its consequences for public administration.
Book reviews
Shorter assessments of significant new work in administrative law and adjacent fields. Book reviews will be commissioned by the editorial team once appointments are announced.
Special issue proposals
The journal welcomes proposals for special issues on questions of public law that merit sustained, multi-author treatment. Proposal procedures will be published with the author guidelines.
Selection and review
The review process is in preparation. Its arrangements will be published before submissions open.
The journal will publish its peer-review model, criteria for selection, and editorial responsibilities in its author guidelines. No review model, acceptance rate, or timeline is claimed on this site at this stage.
Editorial decisions will be made by the journal’s editors and will be independent of the journal’s operator. The separation between editorial and operational decisions will be stated in the journal’s editorial policy.
No submissions yet
This site does not accept submissions. A call for papers and submission route will be published when the journal is ready to receive manuscripts.
